今早这首诗歌，是赞美诗338首，第三段第一句原本是“Join hands then,brothers of the faith",后来被美国卫理公会的Lawrence Stookey (b. 1937)重写成 “ Join hands, disciples of the faith”，为的是要能充分反映男女性别平等价值观及表达出加拉太书3:28强调的教会合一精神。附上的视频也充分表达出此诗歌的内容。
